Great Peace

From Pastor’s Desk: 9-20-15

Psalm 119:165 (NIV) Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

***

If you love His law (His word), you will desire to know it more. The more you know it, the greater peace you will experience. The greater peace you have, you are less apt to stumble.

This is not the peace the world gives (John 14:27) but the peace only He can give. It is a peace that passes all understanding (Phil 4:7), peace that pervades the heart, mind, and spirit, settling unsettling issues, stilling chaotic situations, causing serenity instead of turmoil, making possible the impossible, bringing adhesiveness to a troubled relationship, purging the heart of all doubt and fear.

The list could be greatly extended as to what the peace of God can do in a life that will allow Him in, and further, allow Him to take control. In fact, the list of things before mentioned can only happen WHEN He is in control.

But it all begins with the word. The word is the foundation. Everything else must be built on the word. And remember, Jesus IS the word (John 1:1-5).

Hey excellent website! Does running a blog like this take a great deal of work?
I have no understanding of coding however I had been hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyway, should you have any ideas or tips for new
blog owners please share. I know this is off subject
but I just wanted to ask. Kudos! http://www.iamsport.org/pg/pages/view/30984082/
