Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
“For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears… Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
(1 Cor. 13:9, 13).
Knowing only in part and seeing only poor reflections tends to enshroud our lives with mystery. But should God reveal all things all at one time, we would not be able to contain the whole. The mysteries of God will be revealed at the appointed time and not before.
God’s timing is exact. He is Sovereign. He, who set things in order in the beginning, knows how it all is going to end. His word is forever true and will not prove false. It might take a while in coming, but with faith and hope wait for it. If He said it, it WILL happen.
