Continue to Believe!

From Pastor’s Desk:

Daniel 10:12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.
Notice Daniel’s first inclination toward prayer gained heaven’s attention. There in the mind, while the plan of prayer is being formed, before it reaches the stage of verbalization, he was heard. Jesus said “…your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things…” (Matthew 6:32). Romans 8:27 tells us “…he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” The Holy Spirit, knowing the mind of the Father and vice-versa, it stands to reason that He can know the very intent and purpose of our heart and mind. So, at the very first thought God hears and knows the substance of our prayer.

As in Daniel’s situation, it might take some time for prayer to be answered. There may very well be warfare in the heavens that we cannot see. But we can rest assured that God has heard and will answer in due time, in fact at the exact time. Don’t give up! Continue to believe! He has heard you!
