Treasures

    • From Pastor’s Desk:Sunset over Mountain Range
    • Matthew 2:11-12 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

What is the old adage? Wise men still seek Him? Should we not be doing the same? Not seeking Him to receive from Him, but rather to give to Him treasures. We may not have at our disposal gold, frankincense and myrrh, but that which we do have should be given freely. Being wise, they must have known it is better to give than receive.

Can we learn from the wise men and seek Him, not just to receive, but to lay treasures at His feet.
