He Said It. He’ll Do It!

Sunset over Mountain RangeFrom Pastor’s Desk:

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

How many times does this appear in the Bible? Yet we continue being weak and afraid due to circumstances that engulf us.

Think maybe it could be that we’re still working on the trust factor? He told the Israelites He would go with them, even before them, and yet so many times they lost their courage (if they ever had any) and became afraid.

Does He not, through His word, tell us the same? Yet so many times we lose (if we ever had any) our courage and become afraid.

If we could just learn that God says what He means and means what He says. He would not encourage us to be strong if it could not be. If there was no hope of living a life without fear, He would not have told us to not be afraid.

When you can’t feel Him, trust Him anyway. He said it. He will do it.
