At My Right Hand

Sunset over Mountain Range

From Pastor’s Desk:

Psalm 22:19 But you, LORD, do not be far from me. You are my strength; come quickly to help me.

Notice He doesn’t just transmit, infuse, or give us strength. He IS our strength. David said, “I have set the LORD always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved” (Ps. 16:8).

He is the One who ever goes before us into regions of which we know not. What is around the bend is not unknown to Him. The high mountain in front of you cannot hide the situations from Him that you are going to face once you have climbed the mountain and start down the other side. The valley, where you grow, that awaits you which was hidden by the mountain, is not unknown territory to Him.

Why? Because He is at your right hand! He is never far from us! He will always come, according to His timing, His sovereign will, and plan He has for you.

He IS your strength and He will help you. That’s a “Yea and Amen” promise that He cannot retract because He said it. That which He has said He has to do! God is obligated by His own word to do what He said in His word.
