Decree of an Unbeliever

Sunset over Mountain Range

From Pastor’s Desk: 2-19-17

Daniel 6:26-27 “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. 27 He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Standing strong with faith in God, refusing to give in to influences of the devil, will cause even kings to have a change of mind and heart, and to take your side. When the delivering hand of God is seen by those who would oppose Him, that He rescues and saves those who place their faith and trust in Him, that He uses things, and people, to execute His plan in the lives of His people, it is very difficult to repudiate.

The words King Darius says indicates that he had already heard about Daniel’s God. Sometimes it just take while for God to turn everything someone has heard about Him into reality.

We need desperately to continue proclaiming what God can do, who He is, and what a difference He can make in a life. Sooner or later, someone will see, believe, and declare, that “…he is the living God and he endures forever…he rescues and saves…he performs signs and wonders…”

Most significant is that they will see all this in YOUR life! That “…he has rescued (your name) from the power of the lions” (the enemy).
