Dwelling in Unity

From Pastor’s Desk:

Mark 11:25 “…when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Just imagine the unity that would transpire in any given relationship, whether be family, church, or friend. It would indeed be …”like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing– Life forevermore” (Ps 133:2-3).

Spiritual things happen when people are in unity that otherwise will not. The Holy Spirit is free to do His work in individuals when the church is in unity. The work includes saving a soul, because of the convicting (convincing) power of the Spirit speaks to the heart. Healing takes place because the virtue of Jesus Christ flows freely throughout the congregation. People are filled with the Spirit as a result of liberty. Call to ministry is given due to the affect/effect the service has on those whom God would choose to do a specific work in His kingdom.

The list would be absolutely endless as to what God can do when people dwell together in unity!
