From Pastor’s Desk:
I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. – Psalm 119:7 NKJV
There really is no other way for God to receive our praise than from a heart that is righteous before Him. His righteous judgments cause us to rejoice as we accept that He renders judgment only in righteousness. That is one aspect wherein we can trust that He is always faithful and true. One cannot trust one who is judges one way one time and another way another time, or exacts judgment upon one person and not another. We do not have to worry about that with God as He is immutable, and with other attributes of Omnipotence, Omniscience, Infallibility, etc., able to judge righteously in all things.
Even when judgment goes against us, we know that it is, indeed, executed righteously.
